If you’re the kind of person who enjoys sending the occasional good morning text, you may wonder why everyone doesn’t do it. You may also think you’re in the minority with your habit. It turns out, however, that plenty of other people are into good morning texts, but they might not be as obvious about it as you are. There’s no need to feel self-conscious about your morning message habit — especially since studies have shown that these kinds of texts can help foster stronger relationships and make mornings just that much better for both parties involved.
Wake Up
Sometimes it’s difficult to get out of bed and face the day. When you do, it’s important to start your day off with positivity. A morning text from someone special can give you that boost of confidence you need to take on anything. The next time you’re feeling down, send your love interest (or anyone else) a little text letting them know how much they mean to you. It may seem like nothing at first, but waking up with a sweet message will leave them feeling loved and appreciated for who they are. Plus, starting your day with something nice is sure to make it better!
Open Your Eyes
Texting is an easy way to show your love for someone. You can do it anytime, anywhere and it doesn’t cost you anything but time and effort. All you need is your cell phone and a zegbeg – that’s right, I said https://zegbeg.com/.
Zegbeg are those little words of encouragement we all use with our friends when they’re feeling down or going through tough times. For example, if your best friend just broke up with their significant other than you might say to them Dude! That sucks! Hang in there. We’ll get through this together. Or something like, hey man, I know this is hard and it will take some time before you feel better again but don’t worry because everything happens for a reason and someday soon you’ll find out why things turned out this way and what lessons there are to be learned from them. And even though it seems like nothing will ever make sense again now that he’s gone–don’t give up hope because there is light at the end of the tunnel (just wait for it).
So instead of waiting until tomorrow morning–start texting today evening. It doesn’t have to be complicated either; sometimes as simple as Hey how was your day? Is all you need to say to brighten someone else’s day?
See your phone
I check my phone first thing every morning. I see notifications for new likes, retweets and comments on articles that I wrote. Sometimes I’ll scroll through Twitter or Facebook, but most often I open up iMessage to see what my friends are saying. It’s important to me that someone has reached out to me first thing in the morning; it makes me feel valued as a person and that they’re thinking of me even when we’re not together. I’m not shy about telling people that if I don’t get a good morning text, my day just isn’t going to be great. Receiving an early-morning message gives me hope for the day and motivates me to do better at work because I want more good things in life. We all need someone who will say Hey! You matter before we’ve had our coffee. And while some people might only need this validation once in a while, others may need it every single day.
Read the text
Morning texts are an art form. They’re not just something you do to say hi, they’re something you do to show someone that you care about them. This is especially true for couples. A morning text can be used as a greeting or as a way to send some love and encouragement before tackling the day. For example, Good morning babe! I hope your first day of work went well! Or I know it’s early but I wanted to tell you good morning. Whatever it is, the point is to take 5 seconds out of your busy schedule and make sure your loved ones know they’re on your mind.
Start your day with love
- Good morning, babe!
- I really like you.
- I wish we were together right now.
- Do you want to talk on the phone?
- What are your plans for today?
- I’m sorry if my last text seemed cold, I was just thinking about you and missed your company for a minute there!
- Let’s get together tonight!
